SUPPORTED BY

PYP Junior Group is supported by our amazing army of volunteers. Oversight of all PYP activities is by the PYP Trustee Board.

Our Safeguarding policy has been created based on advice from the NSPCC (www.nspcc.org.uk) and the National Youth Agency (https://www.nya.org.uk). We also use advice from these organisations when planning days out and residential trips.

Safeguarding training is taken by our volunteers every twelve months thanks to courses provided by us from the NSPCC and the NYA and Croydon Council via its MeLearning portal.

Our trustees undertake safeguarding training every three years.

FUNDING

Over the years we have been funded by various organisations over the years such as: The Peter Jones Foundation, Marks & Spencers, Tescos, Co – Op and St James Place, amongst others. We have also been fortunate to have support from our local ward councillors.

In 2016 we launched our first every crowdfunding campaign with support from Syed Kamall during his time as a Member of the European Parliament.

The aim of the junior club is to provide a safe environment for the children, where they can relax, play, socialise, develop their artistic side and learn how to become a responsible citizen, cooperating with each other and developing their social skills.
